Ford’s fish shack – This place is probably closest to my husband’s home as it gets. They always bring in the freshest seafood available with an atmosphere that almost feels like New England’s fish shacks. They’ve recently opened up two more locations and you always have to have a reservation! Book one and get your fish!
Leesburg Public House – This restaurant housed many of the failed restaurants of the past but still standing strong today. That’s because of their amazing bacon popcorn and weekly burger specials. It’s an American pub with a family environment. You can bring your kids and have your beer too.
Monk’s BBQ – If you want to try a good Virginia BBQ, Monk’s is the best. I can’t get over their smoked bacon on a stick. It’s such a good treat to enjoy with some brisket and their house made sauces. Can’t even go wrong with their bourbon cocktails. Go on a Friday night to enjoy some live music.
Magnolias at the Mill – This is a cute fancy gem that’s right down the road from Monk’s. Perfect for date night or rehearsal dinner for that matter. They are sister restaurants to my favorite pizza place Fireworks. Best of all, they have a separate gluten-free menu.
Souvlaki Bar– Probably the best local Greek food. This one opened up right by my work place. Anytime I forget my lunch, I always go here and get their Greek rice bowls with extra chicken yeero. I just like protein okay. I adore their online ordering that makes it easier to pick and choose, especially when you can’t make phone calls to pick up an order! Hashtag deaf girl problems.
Melt – This place is run by a couple with love for rescue animals whose pictures are printed on the walls for adoption. Not only they take tips for animal shelter donations but their burgers are out of this world. There’s always a LINE. We always get our order to go and stay in to watch a movie at home. It’s located off of the strip in Leesburg with always a friendly service. Go check out their monthly burger specials and grab their milkshake with it. Divine.
Roots 657 – When we first moved out here, there wasn’t a restaurant near us. They finally opened and it began as a marketplace with deli sandwiches and have grown their menu to soups, salads, burgers, smoked meat and daily specials. I always get their Roots Salad or Roots Burger. They have easy online ordering as well for a lazy weekend day!
Market Table Bistro – This is located out in Lovettsville. If you enjoy true farm-to-table meals with local ingredients, this place is for you. Try new things once in a while, have an adventure, experience what this place has to offer.
Market Burger – I know you must be thinking, “That’s enough burger places”, well no. I’m a foodie. And burgers are my thing. Burgers, fries and shakes are how I roll around here. It’s not exactly healthy but if you enjoy quality foods that’s sourced locally like me, you will enjoy their burgers, fries and milkshakes. They mark where their food (meat, potatoes and dairy) is sourced from next to their menu and you’ll see why when you sip into their milkshake or bite into their burgers, it’s so fresh. It’s located in Historic Purcellville near Monk’s BBQ. Go take a trip out there one day and when you’re done shopping at local antique stores, fill your belly up with some darn good food.
